The Project
Sage are always looking for solutions to benefit the user & building owner. The previous government offered an attractive initiative for solar PV which would enable the building owner to install a new roof with solar panels with a FIT (feed-in tariff) which would essentially pay for the roofing works over a 20 year period. This was the package that we were able to offer Formax in Leicester who benefited from this proposal.
NOTE: unfortunately since we completed these works, the government has decided to withdraw the benefits to PV panels and subsequently this option is no longer economically viable.

Sage BEC takes responsibility for the greenhouse gases we cannot avoid emitting by using the Climatecare offset calculator to determine how many tonnes of CO2 we produce in our trading year. To achieve Carbon Neutral status we pay Climatecare to reduce the equivalent amount of CO2 in another part of the world by investing that money into emission reduction projects replacing fuel hungry inefficient technologies with efficient low-carbon technologies in developing countries.
