Envelope Designers
Sage BEC are opening a new purpose developed design office located in Oldbury, Birmingham and we’re looking to bring in enthusiastic and aspirational designers ideally with experience in working with roofing, cladding and rainscreen design. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Follow design/procurement programme
- Report Weekly to Design Manager
- Produce design and working drawings – Autocad
- Attend all design meetings when required
- Ensure specification is complied with
- Monitor quotation/budget to improve upon and highlight any possible variations
- Schedule all materials
- Procure all materials
- Control/monitor budget and material schedule
- Maintain variation log and liaise with Design Manager
- Prepare handover pack for contracts
- Continued involvement through construction phase liaising with contracts manager and site team to assist and resolve any issues
